Operational hours
Airport Operating Hours
The operating hours of LKKL Airport (VFR Day/Night) are defined in two seasonal periods:
- Winter Season (1 October – 30 April): 09:00–17:00 LT
- Summer Season (1 May – 30 September): 08:30–19:30 LT
All times are stated in Local Time (LT).
The airport operator reserves the right to temporarily modify operating hours due to operational, meteorological, safety, or other serious circumstances.
Operations Outside Published Operating Hours
Any arrival, departure, or local flight activity outside the published operating hours is subject to the prior approval of the airport operator.
Pilots are required to request approval for arrivals at least 2 hours before the end of the standard operating hours.
For early morning arrivals or departures scheduled before the start of standard operating hours, the request must be submitted no later than 2 hours before the end of the operating hours on the previous day.

Approval for the extension of operating hours will be confirmed by the airport operator in writing (e-mail, WhatsApp, or SMS).
The airport may not be used outside published operating hours without such written confirmation.
Overtime Operating Charges
Any planned or unplanned use of the airport outside published operating hours is subject to an Overtime Fee, in addition to standard airport charges.
The fee is charged at a fixed rate for each commenced hour of airport operations beyond the published operating hours.
The applicable fee is specified in the current Airport Charges and Fees.
Night Operations
Kladno Airport (LKKL) is equipped with an aerodrome lighting system that enables night operations. Night operations are primarily intended for pilot training purposes; however, private and other flights may also be accommodated in accordance with the airport's operating conditions.
All night arrivals, departures, and training flights are subject to prior approval by the airport operator and must comply with the rules governing operations outside published airport operating hours.

Fuel Services
Kladno Airport (LKKL) provides refuelling services for the following fuel types:
- AVGAS 100LL
- JET A-1
- Ethanol-Free BA98 SuperPlus (Automotive Gasoline)
Refuelling services are provided in accordance with the airport's operating procedures and applicable safety regulations.

Landing Fees
Landing fees are determined according to the aircraft's Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW):

Night Operations and Operations Outside Published Operating Hours
The use of the airport outside published operating hours is subject to an Overtime Fee, charged in addition to standard airport fees:

How to get to the Kladno Airport
Car / Taxi
Kladno Airport is accessible from the D6 motorway from Prague - 15 minutes drive. Before the Velká Dobrá, go to Exit 16. After the first junction (roundabout) turn right, then at the next junction (roundabout) turn left. On the first occasion, turn left again. Here’s where you’ll see the Airport Directions. Free parking is possible at the airport.
Airport Transport
Kladno Airport provides transfers for our customers from Kladno, specifically from the Kladno railway station. Maximum 6 people. This service is only available on weekdays and is subject to a fee.

Train / Bus
By bus: Take a bus from Praha - Zličín or Hradčanská metro stations and go to Velká Dobrá. Bus lines from Prague to Velká Dobrá here.
By train: Take a train from Praha Bubny,via Dejvice, Veleslavín to Kladno railway station. An airport car can pick you up at the Kladno railway station upon request. Train from Prague to Kladno here.
